去年我們到喀拉比旅行時﹐在那上了一堂泰式烹飪課。

回來後﹐照老師給的‘秘級’在家里試煮了一次﹐

挑戰马散麻咖哩Massaman Curry和泰式炒河粉Phat Thai。

泰式炒河粉是炒得有模有樣﹐不過還是覺得少了些什麼﹔

至於马散麻咖哩嘛﹐吃是吃的下﹐

不過人家马散麻咖哩煮出來是橙紅色的﹐我們的則是灰褐色。。。。

經過我們研究一番後﹐結論是我們的食材不夠道地﹐

才會煮出這樣似是而非的菜餚﹐絕對不是我們的問題。 😛

最近朋友告知我們﹐在section 17有間泰式雜貨店﹐

從泰式調味料﹐用品﹐快熟面到雜誌都能在哪找到﹐

而且聽說那裡還有東西吃。

既然如此﹐我們怎麼會錯過呢﹐

當然是找機會去那吃﹐不是不是﹐是去那買些道地材料回來。 😛

其實店裡主要還是以售賣雜貨和食材為主﹐食物的種類和座位不多。

那天我們吃了泰式豬肉粉和som Dtam(木瓜沙拉)﹐味道都很不錯。

爽口的木瓜沙拉甜甜酸酸辣辣的﹐吃了十分開胃﹔

而泰式豬肉粉的湯底則清清的﹐吃多了不會覺得膩。

不過記得提醒老闆娘﹐木瓜沙拉不要太辣﹐

老闆娘問要不要辣時﹐我們說一點就好﹐結果還是辣得我們滿嘴發燙。

還有他們的營業時間也有點特別﹐

只在每個星期四到禮拜天﹐早上十點到下午五點營業。

其他時候老闆則回泰國進貨。

    the food doesn’t look too spicy in your photos, but it sounds VERY spicy in your description! i need the “OR” (original recipe) version, not the “hot and spicy” 😀

    Great som tum there! I was asked if I wanted ‘normal or spicy’, automatically I said ‘spicy’ (becos spicy in AD is not spicy at all) and it nearly blew my head off!! But it was fantastic!! 😀
