星期五下班回家後。

我 : ‘等一下我們和J去那吃晚餐啊?’

馬少 :‘BV1﹐好像是一間日本餐館﹐要帶相機嗎?’

我 :‘帶loh﹐又不是很重﹐而且反正是你拿!’

馬少 :‘。。。。。’

馬少現在很‘怕死’﹐出門前一定會問我要不要帶相機。

因為有幾次抵達餐館後﹔我想拍照時﹐才發現忘了帶相機。

原本興致勃勃的我﹐瞬時間風雲變色烏雲密佈。。。。。。

這手變臉絕技把他給嚇怕了﹔所以現在都是寧願有帶錯沒放過。

到了BV1後我們才知道當晚的用餐地點是Mizu。

其實那是一間已經營業好幾年的日本餐館﹐

只是我們很‘suan gu’加上很少在BV吃東西﹐所以才沒聽說過而已。

朋友J是那的常客。據她說食物都很不錯﹐尤其是他們的套餐挺划算的。

所以我和馬少各自點了一份套餐﹐

外加上一道黃鰤魚薄片料理(yellowtail carpaccio)作為前菜。

而朋友近來吃得健康﹐只點了沙律和烤魚。

當晚把相機帶來是正確的選擇﹔因為東西真的很不錯。

鮮甜的黃鰤魚淋上一點香油﹐外加一些小辣椒﹐

和單純的刺身比起來﹐這道薄片料理別有一番風味﹔

是一道簡單又開胃口的前菜。

而我們點的餐套裡頭﹐除了一般的可樂餅(croquette)和天婦羅外(tempura)﹐

竟然還有一道鵝肝配白蘿蔔。

我一方面好奇這小菜的口感和味道﹐另一方面暗想﹔

鵝肝那麼貴﹐給的份量應該不會太大﹐搞不好連影子都看不到。

結果上菜時﹐看到的卻是一大片的鵝肝和差不多大小的白蘿蔔。

鵝肝入口即化﹐白蘿蔔夠味夠軟﹐

又是一道好吃的法﹑日混合料理。

至於其他食物的水準雖然也很不錯﹐

不過相比之下﹐就沒有這道配菜給我們的驚喜來得大。

下次再光顧﹐我想我還會點他們的套餐﹔

除了份量不少外﹐還有那好吃的鵝肝﹐而且價錢也合理﹐

喜歡日本餐的朋友不妨一試。

    heheh, so which one you prefer ar: foie gras on top of radish, or foie gras on top of french toast?
    but i’m imagining now: foie gras with pork bacon and peanut butter on top of almond-crusted french toast, all together on one plate! yummm 😀

    P.S. and did you eat the cili padi on the carpaccio, or did you give it all to the horse? 😀

    黃鰤魚? 第一次听说过。。味道如何?肉质如何?

    是不是日本餐馆才吃得到?

      Iphone 和相機還是有所不同的。。。。
      黃鰤魚就是yellowtail fish﹐應該不是只有日本餐館才有。
      至於味道如何﹐那就要你自己去試試了﹐一般的日本餐館應該都有賣。 😛

    Love this place. It is one of our usual hangout for dinner. They have this awesome tofu salad topped with century eggs, kinda Chinese like. And of course, nothing beats the Mizu roll.

      I know you guys love that, because when I google it, I saw yours and Queen’s old post about it. I love the foie gras with simmered white radish, next time will try the tofu salad! 😀

    Haha you really like your foie gras too huh! Btw, the other day I was reading in TimeOut Sg abt foie.. got this new restaurant called Saveur, they serve affordable French food… got foie there. Maybe u can try when u go Sg next!
