原本今天是想寫太魯閣的﹐但是有些東西哽在喉嚨﹐不吐不快!
之前上過一個叫Connect 的 course,
而這兩天則去上了一個算是進階版的課程﹐叫Team Connect。
一起上課的﹐除了我們六位小組長Team Leader外﹐
還有的就是六位supervisor﹐兩位Manager(我們分部的老大﹑老二)﹐和一位 IT Manager 。
基本上就是我們公司的管理層都出席﹐而我們這些小組長則是裡頭最卑微的一群。
課程的目的是要讓出席的人更了解對方﹐從而塑造一個更好的管理層﹐
帶領我們吉隆坡的分部邁向美好的未來。
上課的地點在一件酒店的function room, 共有三張桌子﹐每張有五人﹐
而我剛好跟我的直屬supervisor 同一張桌子。
其中有個環節是我們必需給同桌的其他四個人Feedback﹐
而這個Feedback主要是要針對整個團隊工作(Team working)的﹐
看看有什麼是我們需要改善的﹐從而可以讓公司的管理層更強健更好。
首先我們得把Feedback填寫在紙上﹐
然後再當著同桌的其他人把你對某某某的意見念出來。
(原本是要當著全場的人念的﹐還好最後改了)
以下是我們所需要填寫的:

4. What you should stop doing/start doing :
要我怎麼寫? 同桌的除了我和另一個小組長外﹐都是上司級的。
好不容易的﹐絞盡腦汁寫了一些不痛不癢的feedback。
而我的直屬上司給我的Feedback摘要如下 :
1. What I really appreciate about you is :
Good analytical skills, dependable, good communication skills good relation with client
2. What you should do more of
Handle more complex project simultaneously (蛤???)
3. What you should do less of
Play games on the workstation, use your free time to learn GXX(公司的新軟件) (蛤蛤????)
4. What you should
stop doing/start doing :Learning GXX (蛤???)
針對第三點﹐他還補充說﹐曾經多次看見我在上班時玩games 。
(我玩的是面子書的scrabble)
我承認在上班時玩game 是我不對﹐
但是這些Feedback比較像是針對我工作的Performance Review吧?
我們不是在做關於整個吉隆坡團隊工作Team working的Feedback嗎?
而且年度評估不是剛剛才過了嗎?
當在進行一對一的年底評估時﹐怎麼都沒提出來討論﹐
現在當著那麼多人面前﹐當中還有一些我們都不熟悉的(其他上司﹑組長)﹐
給這些feedback, 很奇怪吧?
我當時的感覺就像﹐被人在大眾面前賞了兩巴掌似的。

That f@#&-ing supervisor of yours is such a f@#&-ing @$$hole! I curse him with the curse of a hundred constipated elephants getting a hundred shots of extra-power laxatives simultaneously over his crap-covered f@ce! I curse him, I do!
Maybe that will teach him a lesson in what happens when the shit really hits the fan (or his face, in this instance). 😀

But i dun mind if he really saw and understand (he is non chinese) this post as well.

I think it is not all the supervisor’s fault, the concept of that training course is so wrong (should b called “Disconnect” instead..)!!! I suggest you guys go to Dale Carnegie Training instead. The course encourages ppl to appreciate other’s contribution during work, motivate worker in a positive way (definitely not asking ppl to write smt like “What you should do more of/ less of”)… and a lot more.
LOL, what to do, is conducted by my company university mah.
的确,让自己在这么多上司面前被如此批评很丢脸和气愤。不过想一想,说不定这也是此培训的宗旨之一,因为若要建立强大的团队,首先要化解的,就是上司和下属间的沟通障碍,接着强化彼此的交流和关系,这样团队就会跟着强大起来。
Take it positively,他既然豁出去给你这样的feedback,下次就让对方想不到填写第2、3和4项的答案!:)
我覺得啊﹐這絕對不是培訓或feedback的宗旨﹐這也不是什麼沟通障碍的問題。
要溝通的話﹐應該平時我們在討論project時做﹐還有performance reviews時也可以做﹐
而且平時討論project時我通常都會到他的辦公室﹐
因為我不喜歡用email, 覺得那是one way communication,
如果像你說的﹐要化解上司和下属间的沟通障碍﹐
我覺得絕對不是當著其他人面前給這些feedback。
這種心機那麼重的主管…
如果你寫你不爽他的東西的話…
肯定吃不了兜著走…
除非你中Toto頭獎…
不然還是牙咬一咬忍一忍吧…
其實啊﹐我不是怕他對我怎樣怎樣﹐
我只是想﹐花花轎子人抬人﹐大家隨便寫寫也就過了。
而且平時他對我也還OK﹐所以我沒有想到他會寫的那麼’勁爆‘。
真是失策失策﹐哈哈哈。
What a pity! I think he must be hating you a lot! Why don’t he “warns” you privately first?
