上禮拜天我們和朋友到Red Bean Bag吃早餐時，發現他們的菜單換了。
在原有的早餐菜單上增加了許多新選擇；這對食客來說無疑是一大好消息。
平時我到那吃早餐時都會點他們的招牌吐司Classic French Toast (Rm15)。
沾滿杏仁碎的吐司，塗上牛油再淋點楓糖；
一口要下，滿嘴芳香；是我最愛的早點之一。
不過這次看了新菜單，心裡頭癢癢的，
於是決定拋棄舊愛，點了一道新的Truffle & Brie (Rm20)來試試。
結合了松露香味的布利乳酪，切點塗在麵包上；
再配著用松露油調味的沙拉和黃梨醬一起吃，風味絕佳，我喜歡。
至於馬少，他也點一道新的早餐食品Lamb Shakehuka(Rm25)。
用番茄、小茴香、辣椒等香料慢慢的把羊肉煨軟，上頭加兩粒雞蛋；
配著印度煎餅（Roti Canai）一起吃，有點印度風味。
其實Shakehuka并不源自印度而是來自非洲的突尼西亞；
也有人把他當成以色列人的食品。
不過不管是什麽餐，馬少是吃得津津有味就對了。
朋友們則點了鬆餅Skyscraper (Rm17)和The Atlantic (Rm22)這兩樣熱賣品。
一層疊一層的鬆餅，淋上巧克力醬和楓糖，
加點草莓、香蕉等水果做點綴，很漂亮吧？
而現在的The Atlantic算是進階版。
記得以前在吐司上放的是煙燻鮭魚、蘑菇、芦笋和水煮蛋，然後再淋上荷蘭醬。
現在的版本把芦笋換成了澳洲嫩菠菜，而且還加了鮭魚卵。
好看得來又有營養；友人吃了還請太太回家試做呢。

i love the innovation and forever improvement of red bean bag’s menu, best is their coffee is quite yummy!

oooh, very nice recipes! brie with truffle sounds like the perfect cheese, and the lamb-egg stew with roti canai looks so amazing (i wonder if there’s someone in the kitchen who’s tossing the roti canai, like at a mamak stall) 😀 salmon roe seems like a fun ingredient to include in eggs atlantic, and the cake in the photo is super-creamy! good to know they still keep the french toast on the menu though 😀
The brie with truffle is simple and nice, I enjoyed that a lot. That was the salted caramel peanut butter cheese cake! I Love that, hehehe.

Been to The Red Beanbag but haven’t tried the ones you listed here. Will definitely aim for the The Atlantic on my next visit! It looks delicious!
